Efectele farmacologice ale compușilor chimici din specia Hypericum perforatum L.

Abstract

Abstract. Hypericum perforatum L. is one of the most consumed in the world medicinal plants. The plant has a wide range of land uses in folk medicine, used to treat wounds, eczema, burns, ordinary colds, migraine, digestive tract diseases, is used in lightweight and moderate depression. H. perforatum L. presents great interest in antidepressant activity in mild and moderate depression. Due to the chemical composition, the plant possesses various pharmacological properties: antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, anticonvulsive, anti-inflammatory, analgesics and photodynamic effect. In this article are presented scientific results about the pharmacological effects of biologically active compounds from St. John’s wort, studied in vitro and in vivo.

Rezumat. Hypericum perforatum L. este una dintre cele mai consumate în lume plante medicinale. Planta are o gamă largă de utilizări în medicina populară, folosită pentru tratarea rănilor, eczemelor, arsurilor, răcelii obișnuite, migrenei, bolilor tractului digestiv. H. perforatum L. prezintă mare interes pentru activitatea antidepresivă în depresie ușoară și moderată. Datorită compoziţiei chimice planta posedă diferite proprietăţi farmacologice: antifungice, antibacteriene, antivirale, anticonvulsive, antiinflamatoare, analgezice și efect fotodinamic. În acest articol sunt prezentate rezultatele știinţifice despre efectele farmacologice a compușilor biologic activi din sunătoare, studiate in vitro și in vivo.
