Structura tumorilor hipofizare la pacineţii din instituţiile curative republicane în 2008-2010

Abstract

A pituitary tumor is an abnormal growth of cells within the pituitary gland. The pituitary is the part of the brain that regulates the body's balance of hormones and its damage causes systemic disorders in the body. The results of this study showes that the pituitary tumors are found most frequently at 43,6±1,45 years old and they predominate in females- 61%. Prolactinoma is detected most often in women of childbearing age, being often the cause of infertility.

Tumorile hipofizare(TH) sunt procese patologice localizate la nivelul glandei hipofizare, structură cu activitate reglatoare a întregului sistem endocrin. Afectarea hipofizei provoacă un spectru larg de dereglări sistemice. Rezultatele acestui studiu demonstrează că tumorile hipofizare cel mai des se depistează la vîrsta 43,6±1,45 ani şi predomină la sexul feminin-61%. Prolactinomul cel mai des se întîlneşte la femeile de vîrstă fertilă fiind de multe ori cauza infertilităţii.
