Tratamentul prin presiune negativă a abceselor și flegmoanelor regiunii OMF

Abstract

Rezumat. Scopul studiului a fost analiza priorităţilor tratamentului prin presiune negativă a abceselor și flegmoanelor în regiunea OMF. Managementul optim al proceselor inflamatorii a regiunii OMF rămâne o provocare, acesta fiind asociat cu morbiditate și chiar mortalitate înaltă precum și costuri semnificative.Terapia cu presiune negativă pretează o aplicabilitate eficientă în mai multe ramuri ale chirurgiei septic. Fiind studiate evidenţele clinice din alte domenii de aplicare, au fost create 2 loturi de studii pentru evidenţierea avantajelor metodei date. Luînd în consideraţie faptul că procesele inflamatorii difuze maxilo-faciale și cervicale ocupă pînă la 50 % din structura generală a maladiilor OMF, terapia cu presiune negativă se impune cu prioritate ca metodă de tratament inovatoriu al acestor patologii.

Summary. The study purpose was to analyze the priorities of negative pressure treatment of abscesses and phlegmons in the OMF region. The management of the inflammatory processes of the OMF region remains a challenge, being associated with high morbidity and even mortality, as well as significant costs. Negative pressure therapy has an effective applicability in several branches of septic surgery. Two research groups were created to highlight the advantages of the given method, after analyzing the clinical records from other application fields. Taking into account the fact that diffuse maxillofacial and cervical inflammatory processes constitute up to 50% of the total number of OMF diseases, negative pressure therapy is a priority, being an innovative treatment method for this type of conditions.
