Abstract

Rezumat Scopul studiului a fost de a efectua o analiză retrospectivă a morbidităţii pacienţilor cu furuncule și carbuncule faciale internaţi în secţia de chirurgie oro-maxilo-facială în perioada anilor 2011-2015. În acest scop au fost studiate fișele medicale a 9312 de pacienţi spitalizaţi pe parcursul anilor 2011-2015. S-a constatat că frecvenţa pacienţilor cu furuncule și carbuncule a constituit 5%. Forma abcedantă a fost apreciată în 89% cazuri. Apariţia complicaţiilor (tromboflebita venei faciale) a fost depistată la 5% dintre pacienţi.

Summary The purpose of the study was to perform a retrospective study of the incidence of the facial furuncle and carbuncle in the department of OMF surgery from 2011 till 2015. The histories of 9312 patients were studied. It was determined that the incidence of OMF furuncles and carbuncles was 5% of all the patients treated in the department of OMF surgery between 2011 and 2015. Abscesses were observed in 89% of cases. The development of complications (thrombophlebitis of facial vein) was determined in 5% of patients.
