Rezumat
Conform datelor statistice anual milioane de oameni din intreaga lume sunt
afectaţi de traumatismele dento-parodontale (TDP). TDI reprezintă o problemă
de sănătate publică, din cauza incidenţei înalte, mai ales în rândul copiilor, dar şi
a tratamentului acestora, adeseori complex şi costisitor şi care se poate prelungi
pe durata întregii vieţi. Consecinţele unor astfel de traumatisme sunt adeseori
dramatice pentru cel implicat, atât din perspectiva impactului fizic, psihic dar şi
social. Scopul acestui studiu a fost analiza datelor în funcţie de sex, vârstă, mediul
de trai, numărul de dinţi traumatizaţi, dintele/ dinţii traumatizaţi, tipul traumei,
structurile dentare dure interesate (smalţ, dentină, ciment) din evidenţa copiilor
cu afecţiuni traumatice ale ţesuturilor dentare dure. Un studiu retrospectiv a fost
realizat in cadrul Catedrei de chirurgie OMF pediatrică, pedodonţie şi ortodonţie, utilizând datele a 1099 adolescenţi: 573 (52,1%) baieţi şi 526 (47,9%) fete din
două grupe de vârstă: 563 de adolescenţi de 12 ani şi 536 de 15 ani cu leziuni
traumatice ale dinţilor permanenţi, locuitori atât din mediul urban, cât şi rural
din diferite localităţi ale Republicii Moldova. Trauma a fost diagnosticată la 240
de dinţi permanenţi, ceea ce demonstrează că numarul de dinţi traumatizaţi a fost
de 0,2 pentru fiecare copil. Cei mai afectaţi dinţi au fost: incisivul central superior
pe stânga în 71 de cazuri (6,5%), urmat de incisivul central superior pe dreapta
în 68 de cazuri (6,2% ), in timp ce cei mai puţin afectaţi au fost: caninul superior
pe dreapta în 3 cazuri (0,3 %) şi caninii inferiori, ambii cu câte 4 cazuri (0,4%)
fiecare. Acest studiu s-a bazat pe examinarea grupului frontal de dinţi atât superiori cât si inferiori, deoarece anume ei sunt cei mai importanţi atât din punct de
vedere estetic, funcţional, dar şi fonetic. Concluzie: Este necesar un program de
informare atât în rândul copiilor, cât şi in rândul pedagogilor şi părinţilor cu privire la măsurile preventive întru micşorarea numarului de cazuri de traumatisme
dento-parodontale, precum şi metodele de acordare a primului ajutor.
Summary
According to the statistics, millions of people around the world suffer from
tooth-periodontal trauma (PTA) every year. PTA is a public health problem due
to the high incidence, especially among children, and their treatment is often
complex and expensive and can be done throughout of life. The consequences
of such trauma are often dramatic for the patient, both with a view of physical
impact, as well as psychological and social. The purpose of this study is to analyze the findings based on sex, age, place of residence, number of injured teeth,
injured tooth or teeth, type of trauma, involved dental structures (enamel, dentine, cement) from a common list of children with dental trauma. A retrospective study was carried out at the Department of Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery,
pedodontics and orthodontics, using data from 1099 patients: 573 (52.1%) boys
and 526 (47.9%) girls in two age groups: 563 adolescents 12 years and 536 teenagers of 15 years with traumatic injuries of permanent teeth, residents of both
urban and rural areas in different regions of Moldova. The injury was diagnosed
in 240 permanent teeth, which indicates that the number of injured teeth was 0.2
per child. Most of the injured teeth were: the left upper central incisor in 71 cases
(6.5%), after that the right upper central incisor was in 68 cases (6.2%), while the
least of all were injured: the upper right canine in 3 cases (0.3%) and lower canines, 4 cases (0.4%) each. Conclusion: It is necessary to initiate an information
program both among children and among parents and teachers on measures to
prevent tooth-periodontal injuries and methods of first aid.
