Ziua internaţională a stomatologului: origini istorice, aspecte spirituale şi bioetice

Abstract

Rezumat. Ziua Internaţională a stomatologului este sărbătoarea profesională a dentiştilor şi medicilor stomatologi, celebrată în întreaga lume în fiecare an la 9 februarie, — în ziua comemorării Sfintei Apollonia, care este patroana celor suferinzi de durere de dinţi şi a stomatologilor. Acesta este motivul pentru a considera ziua respectivă drept Ziua Internaţională a stomatologului. În istoria creştinismului putem găsi numele personalităţilor care au lăsat urma lor pe pământ, cimentând prin viaţa sa de martir bazele credinţei şi temelia bisericii. Viaţa şi sacrificiul Apolloniei din Alexandria, care au făcut-o martir, leam studiat un timp oarecare, bazându-mă pe o varietate de literatura disponibilă şi găsind o mulţime de informaţii interesante, dar, de asemenea, şi suficiente absurdităţi sau tratări superficiale. The International day of the dentists is a professional holiday of dentists, which is celebrated February 9 on the whole planet annually at day of the memories saint Apollonia, which is an Patron Saint of Dentists and those with toothaches or have a dental diseases. So this day is considered International Day of dentist. There is a lot of name of the personalities in histories of christianity, which have left their footprints on the earth like a martyr´s life at the beginning of the church. The life and sacrifice of Saint Apollonia from Alexandria, done her martyr, I studied certain time on varied available literature, and in which I have found much interesting information, but also it is enough much senseless or superficial interpretations. This occurred in time of the Roman empire, where woman in Alexandria gave her life, but did not abandon to their own beliefs and faiths, under torture even. The eexecutioner has dislodged her teeth and has crushed her jaws. Before death, according to legend, she has offered one, for that she was invoked by those with toothaches or have a dental diseases. In this moment she became in the Patron Saint of Dentists and Dental Diseases.
