Abstract

Rezumat. Pe aria mucoasei bucale se ecranează cele mai diferite afecţiuni de ordin local şi de caracter sistemic — la etapa de debut sau pe parcurs evolutiv — dar invariabil cu simptomatologie orală comună , care adesea devine sursă de erori cu respective consecinţe clinice şi prognostice. Medicul stomatolog trebuie să cunoască manifestările clinice de la nive‑ lul cavităţii orale, pentru a pune un diagnostic corect şi pentru a le diferenţia de alte boli, care au manifestări clinice asemănătoare pentru un tratament corect (în cazul bolilor propriu‑zise ale cavităţii orale) sau recomandarea unui consult de specialitate. Neglijarea sănătăţii orale poate avea un impact deosebit asupra stării generale a organismului.
