Rezumat.
Introducere. Apariţia tulpinilor de Staphylococcus meticilino-rezistent reprezintă un fenomen actual în medicină. Infecţiile septico-purulente cauzate de tulpinile de Staphylococcus meticilino-rezistent caracterizate prin rezistenţă înaltă la
mai multe clase de antibiotice determină un impact negativ
semnificativ asupra sănătăţii publice. Continuarea cercetărilor este necesară pentru cunoașterea factorilor de risc, a mecanismelor de transmitere și a epidemiologiei infecţiilor cu
Staphylococcus meticilino-rezistent, ce va contribui la implimentarea măsurilor de supraveghere și control precum și la
îmbunătăţirea respectării recomandărilor date.Material și metode. Din bazele de date PubMed, au fost
selectate articolele relevante care au arătat evoluţia infecţiilor cu MRS de la primele cazuri și până în perioada contemporană. Pentru realizarea obiectivului trasat, a fost efectuată
căutarea literaturii știinţifice de specialitate după cuvintele
cheie: „Staphylococcus meticilino-rezistent”, „Staphylococcus
meticilino-sensibil”, „rezistenţa la antibiotice”, „Staphylococcus coaguloso-pozitivi”, „Staphylococcus coaguloso-negativi”.
A fost selectată și procesată informaţia despre epidemiologia,
factorii de risc, gradului de sensibilitate/rezistenţă, impactul
medical și socioe-conomic al infecţiilor cu Staphylococcus meticilino-rezistent.
Rezultate. După prelucrarea informaţiei identificate de
motorul de căutare Google Search, din bazele de date PubMed
conform criteriilor de căutare, au fost selectate 527 de articole
privind infecţiile septico-purulente cu Staphylococcus meticilino-rezistent. Bibliografia finală conţine 53 de surse relevante,
care au fost considerate reprezentative pentru materialele publicate la tema acestui articol de sinteză.
Concluzii. Infecţiile cu Staphylococcus meticilino-rezistent
prezintă o preocupare majoră la nivel global, determinată de
creșterea anuală a tulpinilor de stafilococi meticilino-rezistenţi și de apariţia unor tulpini rezistente la antibioticele antistafilococice de rezervă.

Introduction. The emergence of methicillin-resistant
Staphylococcus strains is a current phenomenon in medicine.
Septic-purulent infections caused by methicillin-resistant
Staphylococcus strains characterized by high resistance to several classes of antibiotics cause a significant negative impact
on public health. Further research is needed to know the risk
factors, transmission mechanisms and epidemiology of infections with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus, which will
contribute to the implementation of surveillance and control
measures and to improve compliance with the given recommendations.Material and methods. From the PubMed databases, were
selected relevant articles that showed the evolution of MRS infections from the first cases and to the contemporary period.
To achieve the stated objective, was searched the specialized
scientific literature by the following keywords: „methicillinresistant Staphylococcus”, „methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus”, „antibiotic resistance”, „coagulase-positive Staphylococcus”, „coagulase-negative Staphylococcus”. Was selected and
processed information on epidemiology, risk factors, sensitivity / resistance, medical and socioeconomic impact of infections with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus.
Results. After processing the information identified by
the search engine Google Search, from the PubMed databases
according to the search criteria, 527 articles were found on
nosocomial infections with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus. The final bibliography contains 53 relevant sources, which
were considered representative for the materials published
on the topic of this synthesis article.
Conclusions. Infections with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus are a major global concern, caused by the annual
growth of methicillin-resistant staphylococcal strains and the
emergence of strains resistant to reserve antistaphylococcal
antibiotics.
