Despre valoarea semantică a unor termeni eponimici medicali și farmaceutici

Abstract

Introducere. La etapa actuală, fenomenul eponimiei este abordat în numeroase lucrări, cu intenția de a efectua analiza structurală și semantică a termenilor, care au la origine un nume propriu sau includ un nume propriu, creați pentru a denumi lucruri, a exprima anumite concepte specifice unui domeniu, a eterniza numele unor personalități notorii. Scopul lucrării. În conținutul lucrării s-au făcut referiri la valorile semantice ale unor termeni eponimici medicali și farmaceutici, argumentând prezența lor inevitabilă în anumite contexte, justificând, astfel, necesitatea examinării acestor termeni în procesul de predare a terminologiei medicale și farmaceutice. Materiale și metode. Au fost utilizate dicționare, manuale, articole publicate la tema cercetată. Informațiile selectate au fost examinate prin observare, analiză, comparație, generalizare, clasificare. Rezultate. Sistematizarea informațiilor, a fost urmată de efectuarea clasificării termenilor eponimici analizați după structură și după semantică. Au fost explicate sensurile unor termeni-eponime în contexte concrete, fiind punctate intersectările disciplinare. Concluzii. Antroponimele, toponimele sunt resurse utilizate la crearea termenilor eponimici, ce completează arsenalul lexical medical și farmaceutic, reflectând evoluția vertiginoasă a științelor din domeniul respectiv. Cercetarea acestor termeni în procesul de predare a terminologiei medicale și farmaceutice contribuie atât la completarea achizițiilor cognitive, cât și la cultivarea unei atitudini proactive.

Introduction. At the present stage, the phenomenon of eponymy is approached in many works, to perform structural and semantic analysis of terms, which originate a proper name or include a proper name, created to name things, to express certain concepts specific to a field, to perpetuate the names of notorious personalities. Objective of the study. In the content of the paper, references were made to the semantic values of eponymous medical and pharmaceutical terms, arguing their inevitable presence in certain contexts, thus justifying the need to examine these terms in the teaching of medical and pharmaceutical terminology. Materials and methods. There were used: dictionaries, manuals, and articles published on the researched topic. The selected information was examined by observation, analysis, comparison, generalization, and classification. Results. The systematization of the information was followed by the classification of the eponymous terms analyzed by structure and by semantics. The meanings of some eponymous terms were explained in concrete contexts, being pointed out as the disciplinary intersections. Conclusions. Anthroponyms and toponyms are resources used to create the eponymous terms, which complete the medical and pharmaceutical lexical arsenal, reflecting the dizzying evolution of the sciences in that field. The research of these terms in the process of teaching medical and pharmaceutical terminology contributes both to the completion of cognitive acquisitions and to the cultivation of a proactive attitude.
