Abstract

Rezumat. Utilizarea metodelor de magnificare în practica stomatologică pentru un diagnostic amănunţit şi tratament, devine din ce în ce mai obişnuita. Cel mai perfect instrument folosit cu acest scop este microscopul operator, care s-a dovedit, ca nu doar îmbunătăţeşte calitatea şi rezultatul operaţiunilor clinice, dar şi facilitează o ergonomie mai buna atât pentru medic, cât şi pentru asistent. Acest articol, explorează potenţialul utilizării microscopului operator în stomatologia generala, dar cu preferinţă în endodonţie.

Summary. The use of magnification methods in dental practice for a thorough diagnosis and treatment is becoming more common. The most perfect tool used for this purpose is the operating microscope, which has been shown to not only improve the quality and outcome of clinical operations, but also facilitate better ergonomics for both the physician and the dental assistant. This article explores the potential of using the operating microscope in general dentistry, with a special focus on endodontics.
