Asimetriile faciale în contextul anomaliilor dento-maxilare

Abstract

Rezumat. Asimetria feţei reprezintă o caracteristică individuală a omului, însă prin lipsa unui consens cu privire la ceea ce trebuie considerat ca asimetrie, în special, cât de mult ar trebui să difere o parte a scheletului facial de cealaltă, astfel încât să putem vorbi, de exemplu, despre prezenţa asimetriei patologice, asimetriile faciale vor rămâne o temă de cercetare cu statistică variată. Scopul acestui articol este de a determina corelaţie dintre asimetria facială şi patologiile endobucale, cît şi metodele de tratament utilizate în corectarea patologiei.

Summary. The asymmetry of the face is an individual characteristic of man, but in the absence of a consensus on what should be considered asymmetry, in particular, how much one side of the facial skeleton should differ from the other, so that we can speak, e.g. , about the presence of pathological asymmetry, facial asymmetries will remain a research topic with varied statistics. The purpose of this article is to determine the correlation between facial asymmetry and endobuccal pathologies, as well as the treatment methods used to heal the pathology.
