Ameloblastomul. Diagnostic. Aspecte radiologice și histologice

Abstract

Rezumat: Ameloblastomul prezintă o tumoare benignă odontogenă. Aceasta se dezvoltă din țesutul epitelial și se caracterizează prin creștere invazivă, cauzând distrugeri locale semnificative. Se acordă o atenție deosebită depistării timpurii a afecțiunii, pentru implementarea tratamentului chirurgical minim invaziv, în vederea diminuării potențialelor consecințe invalidante. Studiul s-a bazat pe analiza fișelor medicale ale pacienților care au solicitat asistență de specialitate în IMSP IMU cu Ameloblastom în perioada anilor 2001-2022. Confirmarea histologică a diagnosticului a fost într-un număr redus de cazuri, ceea ce rezultă necesitatea examinării mai minuțioase a aspectelor clinice, radiologice și morfopatologice ale ameloblastomului.

Summary: Ameloblastoma is a benign odontogenic tumor. It develops from epithelial tissue and is characterized by invasive growth, causing significant local destruction. Special attention is paid to the early detection of the condition, for the implementation of minimally invasive surgical treatment, in order to reduce the potential disabling consequences. The study was based on the analysis of the medical records of patients who requested specialist assistance in IMSP IMU with Ameloblastoma during the years 2001-2022. Histological confirmation of the diagnosis was in a small number of cases, which highlights the need for a more thorough examination of the clinical, radiological and morphopathological aspects of ameloblastoma.
