Introducere. Tusea convulsivă la copii este o patologie frecventă care necesită inițierea unui tratament calitativ de urgență. În tratamentul tusei convulsive, este important să se distingă 2 direcții: ameliorarea atacurilor acute care pun viața copilului în pericol și terapia anticonvulsivă de în treținere a procesului cronic. În acest caz fenobarbitalul se consideră a fi un medicament cu eficacitate înaltă pentru tu sea neonatală convulsivă, cu utilizare globală. Scopul studi ului. Prezentarea unui algoritm pentru tratamentul tusei convulsive neonatale cu utilizarea pulberilor cu fenobarbital, preparate conform prescripțiilor medicilor, în secția de producere CFU “Vasile Procopișin”. Material și metode. Prescripțiile medicilor din Spitalul Clinic Municipal de Boli contagioase de copii, pentru pulberile cu fenobarbital destinate sugarilor, preparate în CFU „Vasile Procopișin”, secția de producere. Fișele medicale ale copiilor sugari (50 fișe medicale) în perioada anului 2023, cu sindrom de tuse convulsivă. Rezultate. Din cele 50 de fișe medicale care au fost selectate pentru acest studiu, tusea convulsivă neonatală a fost diagnosticată la 70% de copii, dintre care acestea au fost considerate simptomatice. S-a observat prevalența apariției primare a sindromului convulsiv la nou-născuți în primele 4 zile de viață. Crizele au fost ameliorate cu utilizarea monoterapiei cu fenobarbital. Este binevenit faptul că actualmente, unii medici pediatri din R. Moldova optează pentru prescripțiile magistrale individuale, și le utilizează cu succes în terapia tusei convulsive la copiii sugari. Astfel în secția de producere a CFU “Vasile Procopișin”, au fost preparate pulberi cu fenobarbital în doze de 0.005 mg, iar în calitate de substanță adjuvantă a fost utilizată glucoza. Concluzie. Actualmente, fenobarbitalul este prescris în tratamentul copiilor sugari care semnalizează simptome de tuse convulsivă, prezentând „o terapie intensivă neonatală orientată spre creier” sigură și eficientă.
Background. Whooping cough in children is a frequent pathology that requires the initiation of qualitative emergency treatment. In the treatment of whooping cough, it is important to distinguish 2 directions: relief of acute attacks that endanger the child’s life and anticonvulsant therapy to maintain the chronic process. In this case phenobarbital is seen to be a highly effective drug for neonatal pertussis used throughout the world. Objective of the study. Presentation of an algorithm for the treatment of neonatal convulsive cough with the use of phenobarbital powders, prepared according to doctors’ prescriptions, in the produc tion department of Vasile Procopișin UPhC. Material and methods. The prescriptions of the doctors of the Municipal Clinical Hospital for Contagious Diseases of Children, with phenobarbital intended for infants, prepared in the Vasile Procopișin UPhC, the production section. Medical records of infants (50 medical records) during the year 2023, with whooping cough syndrome. Results. Of the 50 medical re cords that were selected for this study, neonatal pertussis was diagnosed in 70% of the children, of whom they were considered symptomatic. The prevalence of the primary on set of the convulsive syndrome in newborns in the first 4 days of life was observed. Seizures were relieved with the use of phenobarbital in monotherapy. It is welcome that currently, some pediatricians from the Republic of Moldova opt for individual magistral prescriptions and use them successfully in the therapy of whooping cough in infants. Thus, in the production section of the “Vasile Procopisin” UPhC, powders were prepared with phenobarbital in doses of 0.005 mg, and glucose was used as an adjuvant substance. Conclusion. Currently, phenobarbital is prescribed in the treatment of infants showing symptoms of whooping cough, presenting a safe and effective “brain-directed neonatal intensive care”.
