Există oare relaţii spaţiale şi de timp între hiperplazia şi carcinomul de prostată?

Abstract

Prostatic benign hyperplasia and carcinoma are the two principal conditions to involve the prostate; they account for more than 90% of all prostatic disease. In this study, using the data of morphological archive of Moldavian Oncological Institute, there were investigated all morphological types of benign and malignant tumours, the age of patients, and the cases of association in the same histological slides of hyperplasia and carcinoma of the prostate.

Carcinomul şi hiperplazia sunt patologii care frecvent afectează prostata, reprezentând 90% din toate afecţiunile prostatice. Scopul acestei lucrări, a fost analiza datelor arhivei morfologice a IMSP Institutul Oncologic şi studierea tipurilor histologice ale proceselor tumorale prostatice, frecvenţa acestora, vârsta medie a pacienţilor, frecvenţa asocierii hiperplaziei cu carcinomul de prostată.
