Analiza complicaţiilor în grefarea osoasă secundară la pacienţi cu despicături labio-maxilo-palatine: studiu retrospectiv, descriptiv

Abstract

Introducere. Au fost investigaţi factorii favorizanţi complicaţiilor apărute post-operator şi necesitatea intervenţiei chirurgicale repetate. Material şi metode. În cadrul studiului retrospectiv, descriptiv, au fost evaluate fişele medicale ale pacienţilor cu diagnostic de despicătură labio-maxilo-palatină din cadrul secţiei de Chirurgie OMF pediatrică a Spitalului Clinic Republican pentru Copii „Emilian Coţaga”, în scopul depistării incidenţei complicaţiilor apărute post-operator în perioada 2011-2018, cu o monitorizare minimă de un an. Rezultate. Variabile precum sexul, vârstă, părţile afectate, zona-donor, dintele erupt în despicătură, nu au prezentat corelaţii statistic semnificative faţă de apariţia complicaţiilor în urma grefării osoase. Concluzii. În studiul dat, evaluarea statistică a datelor nu a depistat corelaţii statistic semnificative, ceea ce ne îndeamnă să studiem, în viitor, eşantioane mai mari de pacienţi în scopul depistării factorilor determinanţi ai complicaţiilor post-operatorii în urma grefării osase.

Introduction. Factors favoring post-operative complications and the need for repeated surgery have been investigated. Material and methods. In this retrospective descriptive study, the medical records of patients with a diagnosis of maxillofacial cleft from the Department of maxillofacial pediatric surgery of Clinical Republican Pediatric Hospital „Emilian Coţaga” were evaluated in order to detect the incidence of postoperative complications over the period 2011-2018, with a minimum of one year monitoring. Results. Variables such as gender, age, affected parts, donor area, teeth in the cleft, have not shown significant statistical association with the occurrence of complications following bone grafting. Conclusions. Obtained data did not reveal statistically significant associations, which leads us to study in the future larger patient samples in order to detect those determinants in the occurrence of postoperative complications following bone grafting.
