Eficacitatea unor metode fizioterapeutice în tratamentul gonartrozei

Abstract

Osteoarthritis is the most frequent form of arthritis in adult population with a high rate of disability. The present study has evaluated the efficacy of chondroitin sulfate 400 mg and glucosamine hydrochloride 500 mg associated with different types of physical therapy: magnetolaserotherapy versus magnetotherapy with 1% hydrocortisone ointment and 1% diclofenac gel in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Magnetolaserotherapy decreases the length of treatment course and improves its efficacy, having fewer costs.

Osteoartroza deformantă este cea mai frecventă formă de artrită în populaţia adultă cu o rată înaltă de invalidizare. Studiul prezent a cercetat eficacitatea tratamentului osteoartrozei deformante a genunchiului cu condroitină sulfat 400 mg şi glucozamină clorhidrat 500 mg asociat cu diferite scheme de fizioterapie: magnetolaseroterapie versus magnetoterapie asociată cu fonoforeză cu unguent de hidrocortizonă 1% şi diclofenac gel de 1%. Magnetolaseroterapia asociată micşorează durata tratamentului şi sporeşte eficacitatea lui, fiind totodată şi mai econom.
