Abstract:
According to world epidemiologic studies, the affections of respiratory system in children of early age represent 78-86% of the pathology at this age.(Whithy R.I.,Roizman B.2001) Annually each third person on the planet has an acute respiratory infection.
The ARIs are often associated with the activation of pathogenically conditioned flora, the appearance of intra-cellar persistent infections, including the herpetic one, which can finally lead to immunopathological states or transitory immunologic deficiency.
WHO estimations show that the intra-cellar infections are the most spread infections on the planet, the mortality caused by herpetic infection being on second place (15.8%) in the group of viral infections after flu (35.8%)(Newspaper “Pediatrics and Perynatologie “nb.3(27)2006.
Conform studiilor epidemiologice mondiale, afectiunile aparatului respirator la copii de vîrstă mică reprezintă 76-86% din patologia acestei vârste( Whithy R.I.,Roizman B.2001) Anual, fiecare a treia persoană de pe glob prezintă un episod de infectie acută respiratorie.
Infecţiile respiratorii acute se asociază deseori cu activarea florei condiţionat patogene, apariţia infecţiilor persistente intracelulare, inclusiv şi celei herpetice,care în final pot induce stări imunopatologice, sau insuficienţă imunologică tranzitorie.
Estimarile OMS arată că infecţiile intracelulare sunt cel mai răspândite infecţii pe planetă, mortalitatea cauzată de infecţia herpetică se situează pe locul doi (15,8%) în grupul infecţiilor virale,după gripă (35,8%) (Jurnalul „Perinatologie si Pediatrie” nr.3 (27) 2006).
