Unele aspecte medico-sociale în psihozele alcoolice

Abstract

Mental health represents a fundamental aspect of the individual health and constitutes a major objective of the policy of the public health. Alcohol is the main cause which affects the population’s health. Excessive consumption of alcohol has a medical and social impact. Abusive consumption of alcohol has a bigger incidence in the male gender, after a long time it has a negative impact over all the family members. Pshychiatrical disfunction caused by alcohol may persist and in this way generates a chronic content, influencing negatively over medical, social and psychological components of the individual.

Sănătatea mintală reprezintă o componentă fundamentală a sănătăţii individuale şi constituie un obiectiv major al politicii de sănătate publică. Alcoolul este unul din cauzele majore care afectează sănătatea populaţiei. Consumul excesiv de alcool are un impact medical şi social. Consumul abuziv de alcool are o incidenţă mai mare la sexul masculin, după uz abuziv timp îndelungat şi se răsfrînge negativ asupra membrilor familiei. Tulburarea psihotică indusă de alcool poate să persiste generînd un fond cronic, influenţînd negativ asupra componentelor medicale, sociale şi psihologice ale individului.
