Despre posibilităţile tomografiei computerizate în diagnosticul otitei medii cronice supurate

Abstract

To make ear surgery interventions it is necessary to know thoroughly the state of anatomical structures of middle and internal ear. Physical examination and radiological data traditionally do not offer the necessary information about the status of those anatomical structures. Temporal bone CT scan appearance allowed non-invasive objective assessment of the status of ear structures.

Pentru efectuarea intervenţiilor otochirurgicale conform cerinţelor contemporane este necesară cunoaşterea amănunţită a stării structurilor anatomice ale urechii medii şi interne. Datele examenului obiectiv şi radiologic tradiţional nu oferă informaţia necesară despre starea structurilor anatomice menţionate. Apariţia Tomografiei Computerizate a osului temporal, a permis aprecierea obiectivă şi neinvazivă a stării structurilor auriculare.
