Abstract:
NOIA is an acute ischimia in the small vessels due to insufficient blood flow through posterior ciliary arteries wich vascularises the optic nerve. We have evaluated the usefulness of CT angiography in NOIA diagnosis of two patients. The investigation consists in radiological examination of blood vessels with prior introduction of contrast substance. Both patients have reported changes in CT angiography. CT angiography of ophthalmic arteritis make an important contribution in the diagnosis of NOIA.
NOIA (Neuroopticopatie Ischemică Anterioară)- reprezinta o ischemie acuta la nivelul vaselor mici, datorat fluxului sanguin insuficient prin arterele ciliare posterioare care vascularizează nervul optic.
Am evaluat utilitatea CT (tomografie compiuterizată) prin angiografie în diagnosticul NOIA la doi pacienţi. Investigaţia constă în examenul radiologic al vaselor sanguine cu introducerea anterioară a substanţei de contrast.
CT - Angiografia arterelor oftalmice aduce un aport important în diagnosticul neuropatiei optice anterioare ischemice.
