Strabismul adultului - aspecte clinice

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the most suggestive clinical features for strabismus in adults. The paper represents the analysis of a group of 47 patients whith strabismus examined in the Department of Ophthalmology SCR 2007-2009. It was found that most of strabismus in adults consists of untreated or insufficiently treated previously tipe of strabismus; the main types of convergent and divergent strabismus are those concomitants, and the association of neglected amblyopia, the refraction errors and anisometropia is obvious.

Scopul lucrării este de a evalua caracterele clinice cele mai sugestive pentru strabismul adultului. Lucrarea prezintă analiza unui grup de 47 pacienţi cu strabism examinaţi în incinta Clinicii oftalmologice a SCR în perioada 2007-2009. S-a constatat că marea majoritate a strabismului adultului o alcătuiesc strabismele dezvoltate în copilarie netratate sau insuficient tratate anterior; tipurile principale ale strabismelor convergente şi divergente sunt cele concomitente, iar asocierea ambliopiei neglijate, a viciilor de refracţie şi a anizometropiei este evidentă.
