dc.description.abstract Depressive disorders in older patients evoke several difficulties regarding the pathology evolution, as well as psychopharmacotherapy. Such difficulties are caused by specific biopsychosocial factors: particular features of the age, endocrine troubles and other clinical phenomena association, cognition impairment. A lot of 20 patients had been studied regarding the depression clinical manifestations, while psychopharmacological approach was based on the biochemical basis of the affective trouble. Tulburările depresive la vârstnici iau aspecte dificile atât din punct de vedere ale evoluţiei cât şi a farmacoterapiei. Acestea sunt cauzate şi/sau condiţionate de factorii biopsihosociali specifici: particularităţile de vârstă, perturbările endocrine, asocierea fenomene lor clinice, precum şi afectarea sferei cognitive. În acest context au fost monitorizate 20 paciente cu manifestări depresive, tratamentul cu remedii antidepresive fiind cât de posibil instituit dependent de substratul biochimic a tulburării afective. en_US
