Melatonina. Importanţa în psihiatrie

Abstract

Clinical investigations held recently, have revealed a lot of data concerning the structure of melatonin, its synthesis, metabolism, excretion processes and of course, its impact in biological systems. These data are presented in current scientific work of synthesis, while the analysis of these data would allow us to find the answer to the following question: Is melatonin, the main neural and endocrine regulatory factor, a universal therapy remedy of the future?

Cercetările stiinţifice efectuate recent au relevat multiplele date importante privind structura, sinteza, metabolizarea, excreţia şi impactul melatoninei asupra funcţionării sistemelor biologice. Aceste date sunt prezentate în această lucrare de sinteză, iar analiza lor poate să permită să fie găsit răspunsul la întrebarea: oare este melatonina, principalul reglator neuro – endocrin, un remediu universal în viitor?
