Nervul safen și leziunile lui în caz de stripping al venei safene mari

Abstract

Many patients undergo a stripping operation, saphenous nerve injury is a significant postoperative complication. Symptoms of nerve injury sometimes continue for a long time, and are thus not negligible. Lesions of saphenous nerve is characterized with the triad of anesthesia, hyperesthesia, and pain along the medial side of the calf and foot to the level of the great toe. The anatomical relationship between the saphenous nerve and the great saphenous vein is varied and the two structures run close to each other so a better knowledge of their anatomy in itself proved insufficient in preventing damage to the saphenuos nerve.

Mulți pacienți supuşi unei operații de stripping prezintă o complicație frecventă – lezarea nervului safen. Semnele lezării nervului uneori persistă pentru un timp îndelungat și nu pot fi neglijate. Lezarea nervului safen se caracterizează prin triada de simptome: anestezie, hiperestezie și durere de-a lungul feței mediale a gambei și piciorului până la degetul mare. Raporturile dintre vena safena mare și nervul safen sunt foarete variate, aceste două structuri fiind situate foarte aproape una de alta, iar cunoștințele despre anatomia lor sunt insuficiente pentru a preveni lezarea nervului.
