Abstract:
The paper is focused on the description of biological characterization of the Echinacea
purpurea (L.) Moench. species in new of its implementation in the conditions of the Republic of
Moldova. Experimental data can confirm the possibility to obtain the raw seed materials which
are necessary for culture extension. A wide variety of forms have been identified within
cultivated populations allowing the forms with the most promising and improved economic traits
to be involved in breeding programs.
S-au efectuat cercetările particularităţilor biologice şi ontogenetice ale plantelor de
Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench. în condiţiile Republicii Moldova. S-a evidenţiat potenţialul
adaptiv al plantelor manifestat prin variabilitatea caracterelor morfologice. De asemenea s-a
apreciat intensitatea pigmentarii corolelor şi specificul grupării florilor în inflorescenţe. S-a
obţinut material semincer necesar pentru multiplicarea formelor de perspectivă.
