Abstract:
Arterial hypertension is a non-infectious pandemia in the history of humanity that places
the cardiovascular diseases at one of the first places according to the indexes of sickness rate and
death-rate. Left Ventricular Hypertrophy is a multifactor condition caused mainly by arterial
hypertension. The changes in the target organs are a function of the levels of blood pressure and
the duration of the disease. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the LV hypertrophy and
LV geometry in children and adolescents with arterial hypertension.
Hipertensiunea arterială reprezintă o pandemie neinfecțioasa în istoria omenirii, care
poziționează maladiile sistemului cardiovascular la limita de vîrf în structura maladiilor prin
morbiditate şi mortalitate. Hipertrofia ventriculară stîngă este modificare multifactorială, cauzată
primordial de hipertensiunea arterială. Modificările organelor țintă sunt dependente de valorile
tensionale şi durata maladiei. Scopul studiului prezent este de a evalua prezența Hipertrofiei
Ventriculare, precum şi modelul geometric de afectare la copii şi adolescenții cu hipertensiune
arterială.
