Ameloblastomul. Identificarea precoce. Atitudine terapeutică

Abstract

There were studied 19 patients in which the presumptive clinical or histologic diagnosis was the ameloblastoma of jaws. The diagnosis of ameloblastoma was confirmed only in 7 patients after the analysis of the results of morphologic examination. The morphologic diagnosis in other cases varied: Radicular cyst, keratocyst, residual cyst, giant cell granuloma, cancer. We consider it necessary to perform a radical biopsy in case of preliminary diagnosis of ameloblastoma or other tumor formations of the jaw for an early identification, which must be done by dentist.

În studiul au fost incluși 19 pacienți la care diagnosticul prezumptiv, clinic sau histologic a fost ameloblastom al maxilarelor. În urma analizei rezultatelor examenului morfopatologic s-a depistat că numai la 7 pacienți ameloblastomul a fost confirmat histologic. În celelalte cazuri diagnostic morfologic a variat: chist radicular, cheratochist, chist rezidual, osteoblastoclastom, cancer. În cazul stabilirea diagnosticului preliminar de ameloblastom consideram binevenită efectuarea unei biopsii radicale. În identificarea precoce a ameloblastomului și altor formațiuni tumorale de la nivelul maxilarelor îi revine medicului stomatolog.
