Osteomielita toxică a maxilarelor. Statistică. Aspecte ale morbidităţii, diagnosticului şi tratamentului

Abstract

Toxic osteomyelitis is a variety of osteomyelitis that occurs as a result of patients’ intoxication with chemical substances, drugs. The aim of this study was the assessment the qualitative and quantitative statistical data, the dynamics of the toxic osteomyelitis progression and to analysis considering the nature of the infectious process developement of jaws in drug-addicted patients, hospitalized in the Clinic of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgical Department of National Emergency Center from Republic of Moldova during the years 2010-2012. Assessing the dynamics of toxic osteomyelitis progression there has been noticed that approximately 20% out of patients hospitalized with osteomyelitis disorders present the diagnosis of toxic osteomyelitis, the number of which in 2012 increased twice in comparison with the previous years, which represents a significant increase.

Osteomielita toxică este o varietate a osteomielitei care apare în urma intoxicației pacienților cu substanțe chimice, medicamentoase. Scopul lucrării a fost evaluarea datelor statistice calitative și cantitative, a dinamicii progresării osteomielitei toxice și analiza caracterului desfășurării proceselor infecțioase în oasele maxilare la pacienții cu dependență narcotică, spitalizați în Clinica de Chirurgie OMF a CNȘPMU din R. Moldova, pe parcursul anilor 2010-2012. Evaluînd dinamica progresării osteomielitei toxice sa observat că cca 20% din pacienții internați cu osteomielite prezintă diagnoza de osteomielită toxică, numărul lor în anul 2012 crescând de 2 ori față de anii precedenți, ceea ce reprezintă o creștere considerabilă.
