Profilul hormonal la paciente cu sindrom premenstrual

Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome is a variety of somatic and/or psychological cyclic symptoms characteristic for women of fertile age, which have negative effect for women’s wellbeing. It is known that fluctuations of reproductive hormones are involved in the mechanism of occurrence of premenstrual symptoms. The aim of the present study was to evaluate plasma concentrations of reproductive hormones in patients with PMS. Study results showed that the concentration of reproductive hormones corresponds to ovulatory menstrual cycle, associated with relative estrogen excess in luteal phase.

Sindromul premenstrual prezintă o varietate de simptome somatice şi/sau psihologice repetate ciclic întâlnite la femei de vârstă reproductivă, care sunt atât de pronunţate, încât afectează bunăstarea femeii. Este cunoscut, că în mecanismul de apariţie a simptomelor premenstruale sunt implicate fluctuaţiile ciclice a hormonilor sexuali. Scopul studiului prezent a fost de a evalua particularităţile statutului hormonal la paciente cu SPM. Rezultatele studiului au demonstrat că nivelul hormonilor sexuali la paciente cu SPM corespunde indicatorilor hormonali pentru ciclu menstrual ovulator, însă, asociat cu hiperestrogenie relativă în faza luteală.
