ASPECTE EPIDEMIOLOGICE ALE MALADIILOR INFLAMATORII INTESTINALE LA COPIII DIN REPUBLICA MOLDOVA

Abstract

The role of this editorial is to conduct a prospective study in order to evaluate the share of inflammatory bowel diseases in the pediatric population that seeks specialized medical services, as well as demographic peculiarities of the two clinical entities. Improvement of the diagnostic criteria of inflammatory bowel diseases during the last 3 decades has led to the increase of incidence of this pathology worldwide. In the Republic of Moldova there are not yet national data on epidemiological features of both diseases - ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.

Rolul acestui editorial a fost realizarea un studiu prospectiv care sa evalueze ponderea maladiilor inflamatorii intestinale, în rîndul populaţiei pediatrice ce apelează la serviciile medicale de specialitate, precum şi particularitatile demografice ale celor două entităţi clinice. Ameliorarea criteriilor de diagnostic ale afecţiunilor inflamatorii intestinale, pe parcursul ultimelor 3 decenii, a dus la creşterea incidenţei pe plan mondial pentru aceasta patologie. Pentru Republica Moldova nu există, încă, date la nivel Naţional despre particularităţile epidemiologice ale celor două afecţiuni – colita ulceroasă şi boala Crohn.
