Abstract:
The aim of the study was to assess the clinical and laboratory features of patients with
family history of chronic pancreatitis. The results demonstrated that patients with a family
history of chronic pancreatitis have an onset at a young age, with the prevalence of heavy dolor
syndrome with progression to exo- and endocrine insufficiency. The study of genes involved in
the development of chronic pancreatitis in such patients would be required for prevention,
treatment optimization and minimization of complications.
Studiul a avut drept obiectiv evaluarea particularităţilor clinico-paraclinice ale pacienţilor
cu anamnestic familial de pancreatită cronică. Rezultatele au demonstrat, că pacienţii cu
pancreatita cronică cu anamneză familială au un debut la o vîrsta tînără, cu predominarea
sindromului dolor intens, cu progresarea spre insuficienţă exo- şi endocrină. Studierea genelor
implicate în dezvoltarea pancreatitei cronice la astfel de pacienţi ar fi necesară în vederea
profilaxiei, optimizării tratamentului şi minimalizării complicaţiilor.
