The investigation included 32 patients, schoolchildren and adults, with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. It was carried out primary clinical examination (including status ENT), acumetry, thonal audiometry, speech audiometry. Following the results of tonal liminal and supraliminal audiometry it was deduced a mathematical rule that allows to determine the parameter called intelligibility score(in dB). The proposed method allows specific diagnosis tests without vocal audiometry, not require additional devices, takes less time which is important to initiate faster medication and rehabilitation program for the hearing impaired. en_US
