The review of the literature concerns questions about the perinatal transmission of hepatitis B and C virus perinatal transmission. Given the
high incidence of viral hepatitis, it is possible to predict a further increase in the number of perinatal infections. The most serious consequence
of the presence of HBV infection in the mother is the transmission of that infection to the child. Perinatal transmission is one of the common
ways of distribution of HBV and HCV infections. Perinatal transmission of viral hepatitis B and C from mother to child can occur prenatal
(transplacental), intranatal (at the time of delivery) or postnatal – during care of the newborn. The greatest risk of infection to the fetus is
contamination of pregnant woman during the late terms of pregnancy and is also defined by virus intensity in the blood. Hepatitis B and C in
women of reproductive age represents a risk for both their health and their child’s. The effects of the method of delivery and feeding type on the
possibility of perinatal transmission of viral hepatitis require further study. This will help minimize the probability of infection of viral hepatitis
B and C. A quater of infected newborns develop hepatocellular carcinoma, fulminant hepatitis or cirrhosis.
Обзор литературы касается вопросов перинатальной передачи вирусов гепатита В и С. Учитывая высокий уровень заболеваемости
вирусными гепатитами, можно прогнозировать дальнейший рост числа инфицированных перинатальным путем. Самым тяжелым
последствием наличия HBV-инфекции у матери является передача инфекции ребенку. Перинатальный путь инфицирования является одним
из основных путей распространения HBV- и HCV-инфекций. Перинатальная передача вирусов гепатитов В и С от матери ребенку может
реализоваться пренатально (трансплацентарно), интранатально (во время родов) или постнатально – во время ухода за новорожденным.
Наибольший риск заражения плода отмечается при инфицировании женщины в поздние сроки беременности и определяется выраженностью
виремии. Гепатит В и С у женщин детородного возраста представляет риск как для ее здоровья, так и для здоровья ее потомства. Влияние
способа родоразрешения на возможность перинатальной передачи вируса гепатита С и тип вскармливания нуждаются в дальнейшем
изучении. Их выяснение позволит минимизировать вероятность инфицирования вирусами гепатитов В и С. У четверти инфицированных
новорожденных развиваются гепатоцеллюлярная карцинома, фульминантный гепатит или цирроз печени.
