Abstract:
Summary. The objective of this study was to determine signification of the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) in management of patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. 90 patients with enlarged prostate and LUTS were evaluated by the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) and urodynamics before and after surgical treatment. There was significant correlation of the IPSS and Uroflowmetry results. IPSS test is useful in the estimation of disease severity and results of surgical therapy in BPH patients.
