Abstract:
Summary. For diagnosis of vasculogenic ED recently have been used different methods. The most widely spread method is echo-dopplerography of penis vessels during the pharmacologically induced erection by intracavernous administration of pharmacological preparations–pharmacodopplerography (FDG). 42 patients with the diagnosis of erectile dysfunction being treated in the outpatient department, in the andrology room of the Republican Clinical Hospital were examined by the method of penis pharmacodopplerography using the Philips–HD3 device. The echographic examination before the pharmacodynamic erection showed the echostructure of cavernous bodies and albuginea and allowed measuring the diameter of bilateral cavernous arteries. The use of penis pharmacodopplerography is justified for the differential diagnosis of erectile dysfunctions and evaluation of techniques of conservative or surgical treatment.
