Abstract:
Summary. Pathologic modifications in peripheral haemodynamics include: peripheral blood and renal flow reduction, diminution of the acceleration time and increase in peripheral vascular renal resistance, arterial constriction and venous dilation with perivascular oedema development in ophthalmic microvasculature. Renal affection severity manifests as an independent risk factor for these disturbances development in peripheral circulation, that correlates with the stage of the chronic kidney disease and in the large majority of patients starts together with chronic kidney failure when glomerular filtration decreases under 60 ml/min/1,73 m2.
