dc.description.abstract The aim of the study was to establish the structure and correction criteria of intoxication syndrome from postoperative peritonitis usingcomplex intensive care methods and an surgical algorythmical approach of the patient. The study comprise a 306 cases series of postoperative peritonitis after schedulled (45.8%) or urgent (35.4%) surgical operations, abdominal trauma (10.9%) and gynecological operations (7.8%). In the base of analysis of 21 clinical and paraclinical parameters we described a staging approach of the patient with postoperative peritonitis uşing a personal therapeutic algorithm that permit us to diminish the mortality till 22.4%, and to reduce essentialy the hospitalisation terms. Our postoperative evolutive classification enabled us to better appreciate the prognosis of the patient included in our study. en_US
