Scopul studiului a fost de a studia influenţa ozonului şi a preparatului Bio-R asupra parametrilor peroxidării lipidice şi a activităţii antioxidante totale a serului la pacienţii cu ulcer cornean. Studiul a inclus 60 de pacienţi (60 de ochi) cu ulcere corneene de diversă etiologie.
Pacienţii au fost randomizaţi în 3 loturi: lotul I – 20 de pacienţi (20 de ochi) care au administrat colir antibacterian şi soluţie de Bio-R în
sacul conjunctival; lotul II – 20 de pacienţi (20 de ochi) care au suplimentat terapia de bază cu infuzii şi injecţii subconjunctivale cu soluţie
ozonată; lotul III – 20 de pacienţi (20 de ochi) care au primit doar terapia de bază. Studiul a demonstrat că pe fundalul tratamentului
administrat, simptomele inflamaţiei, sindromul cornean şi doloros a dispărut mai rapid – de 1,7; 1,5 şi 1;5 ori, respectiv, în lotul I şi de
1,9; 1,6 şi 1,5 ori, respectiv, în lotul II versus lotul III, care a administrat doar tratamentul de bază. De asemenea s-a stabilit că atât soluţia
ozonată, cât şi preparatul Bio-R au redus de 3 ori numărul complicaţiilor ulcerelor corneene, au diminuat activitatea citokinelor proinflamatorii, au crescut potenţialul antioxidant al serului sanguin, mobilizând mai eficient rezervele organismului.
The aim of the study was to study the influence of ozone and the drug Bio-R on the parameters of the lipid peroxidation and the total
antioxidant activity of the serum in patients with corneal ulcers. The study included 60 patients (60 eyes) with corneal ulcers of diverse
ethiology. The patients were randomized in 3 lots: the 1st – 20 patients (20 eyes) which added solution of Bio-R to the antibiotic eye
drops; the 2nd – 20 patients (20 eyes) which added ozonized physiological solution in intravenous infusion and subconjunctival injections
to the basic therapy; the 3rd – 20 patients (20 eyes) which took only the basic therapy. The study revealed that on the background of the
administered treatment, the disappearance of symptoms of inflammation, corneal and pain syndromes occurred faster 1,7; 1,5 and 1,5
times respectively in group I and 1,9; 1,6 and 1,5 times - in group II compared with group III, which has taken only the basic therapy. It was
also established that both ozonized solution and Bio-R reduced the number of complications of the corneal ulcers 3 times, diminished the
activity of the pro-inflammatory cytokines and improved the antioxidant activity of the blood serum, increases the effective mobilization
of body reserves.
