dc.description.abstract	The article shows the role and place of pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology in modern pediatrics, emphasizes the ways of its formation and development. Specific features of diseases of the digestive system in children were determined, the importance of modern methods, the relationship with such fundamental subjects as science of nutrition, clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy are noted.
