Prehospital pediatric emergencies in the 2020 year

Abstract

Background. Everything we know, believe and think about children is reflected in everything we do for them, including ensuring their healthy growth and development. Objective of the study. Evaluation of prehospital pediatric emergencies in 2020. Material and Methods. Examination and retrospective statistical analysis of the Request Sheets of the National Centre of Prehospital Emergency Medicine in Republic of Moldova from 2020. Results. In 2020 pediatric requests according to degree of urgency were: 39.132 major emergencies, which constituted 38.2% of total 102.529 pediatric calls, the last ones constituting 13.5% of total of 761.416 calls served. Of the major-transported to hospital-27.351 children or 70.3%. Grade II emergencies-57.844 (56.4%), transported-22.146 (38.3%), grade III-2.543 (2.5%), transported–495 (19.5%), medical-assisted transportation–3.010 (2.9%) with hospitalization in 2.658 or 88.3%. According to nosological profile, respiratory emergencies were placed on the first place, constituting 49.5% of total pediatric emergencies, on the second trauma-14.4%, on the third surgical ones-8.8%. Conclusion. In 2020, on the first place were the second-degree pediatric emergencies and respiratory pediatric emergencies, on the second place - the major pediatric emergencies and the traumatological ones.

Introducere. Tot ceea ce știm, credem şi gândim despre copii se reflectă în tot ceea ce facem pentru ei, inclusiv şi asigurarea creșterii și dezvoltării lor sănătoase. Scopul lucrării. Evaluarea urgențelor pediatrice prespitalicești din anul 2020. Material și metode. Examinarea și analiza statistică retrospectivă a fișelor de solicitare a Centrului Național de Asistență Medicală Urgentă Prespitalicească în Republica Moldova, din anul 2020. Rezultate. În 2020 solicitările pediatrice, conform gradului de urgență au fost: urgențele majore 39.132, ce au constituit 38,2% din totalul de 102.529 de solicitări pediatrice, ultimele constituind 13,5% din numărul total de 761.416 solicitări deservite. Dintre cele majore - transportați la spital – 27.351 copii sau 70,3%, urgențele gradul II - 57.844 (56,4%), transportați - 22.146 (38,3%), dxe gradul III - 2.543 (2,5%), transportați – 495 (19,5%), transportări medical asistate – 3.010 (2,9%), cu spitalizare în 2.658 (88,3%) de cazuri. Conform profilului nosologic pe I loc s-au plasat urgențele respiratorii, constituind 49,5% din totalul urgențelor pediatrice, pe al II- lea cele traumatice - 14,4%, iar pe al III-lea - cele chirurgicale -8,8%. Concluzii. În anul 2020 pe I loc s-au situat urgențele pediatrice de gradul II și urgențele pediatrice respiratorii, pe locul doi – urgențele pediatrice majore și cele traumatologice.
