Abstract:
Introduction
Asthma and obesity are common comorbidities.
Anterior studies have pointed that obesity is a risk
factor for asthma. Individuals with obesity have a
higher prevalence of asthma, wich tends to persist
and need more intensive treatment in these persons.
Dyslipidemia, obesity and hyperinsulinemia may
cause vascular inflammation and reaction of immune
systems in the respiratory tract. In our study, a high
frequency of chronic HBV infection was observed
among patients with asthma, most of them being
obese, which led us to evaluate the lipid profile in
this group. Purpose
Evaluation of lipid spectrum indicators in patients with
bronchial asthma (BA) and chronic HBV infection (HBV
CI).
