Abstract:
The dispute over the possibility of free will has a history equivalent to
the conscious history of humanity. For a long time, the prerogative of contradictory
disputes on this topic was considered to belong to philosophers
or theologians. At the current stage, reflections on the problem of free will
have crossed traditional boundaries, gradually becoming the concern of
science. This is explained by the fact that the way it is solved has a defining
impact both on the conscience and on the moral foundation of human society.
Contemporary science claims that the fine combination of quantum
effects with chaos theory creates an indeterministic world, so the man is
the creator of his own life and responsible for his destiny.
