dc.description.abstract The exceptional situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic generates complex ethical issues in medical, political and social decision-making. The COVID-19 pandemic gives bioethics both theoretically and practically a special relevance. The context in which the campaign for the new covid-19 vaccines was launched raises a number of additional ethical issues, from the experimental nature of these new vaccines to the speed with which these new pharmaceuticals were tested and brought to market, and to conscientious objection. en_US
