Abstract:
Acculturation is a slow process of learning and adapting to a new culture,
contributing to the remodeling of consciousness and being in the bosom
of the correlation with the attitude of individuals of their own culture and
value. Acculturation can contribute to the enrichment of one’s identity, or it
can become or threaten that identity. Acculturation stress is associated with
a failure to adapt, generated by the inability to adjust to another culture.
