Abstract:
In this article an attempt is made to study the meaning of the concept of
culture, and on this background to understand its role in existence social.
The author analyzes the definition of culture based on the literature from an
interdisciplinary perspective. Next, it refers to culture that must be perceived
as a set of spiritual skills as it presupposes a process of assimilation and subjective subjection of values. It is noted that culture shapes human personality,
as culture conveys behavioral patterns, social attitudes, acquired and learned
reactions, the entire history of man as a social being. At the same time, it is
emphasized that culture preserves the social and cognitive experience, holds the forms in which the self-consciousness of a society is expressed, develops
and maintains the mechanisms by which human creation is asserted.
