Abstract:
Constantin Noica, entered the public, literary and philosophical life of the
„generation of the 30s” during the interwar period of confrontation of ideas
and identification of Romania „as achallenge of the spirit”, confident that
„Mankind could be reformed if change began from the element of the edifice,
from the quality of the brick, so but from the edification of the individual” [1].
The current thesis, being a brief account of the fundamental categories of the
philosopher: model „after the model of self-consciousness ... a denial that is
confirmed to infinity” (Stories about man), after „The model as a system for
indirect study of another more complex system, directly inaccessible” (European cultural model), after the model of saying „be”, „as a Romanian conception of the world” (Pages about the Romanian soul) interpreted through
the prism of culture (Noica as a „cultural trainer”) has a study orientation
to the inspirations of these values from Plato’s universal philosophy, Fr. Nietzsche, Os. Spengler, Ar. J. Toynbee et al. Noica defines the notion of Culture
in direct correlation with human life from the aspect of the relation between
rule and exception. The human being determines in the world laws, rules,
norms, which in their operation and practice admit deviations, that is exceptions from the rule.
