Abstract

In this article, the author reveals the legal nature of transplantation as a legal and not a medical phenomenon. The current legislation lacks a unified approach to understanding the nature of transplantation. The author concluded that transplantation is a type of medical care, including the provision of medical services and the implementation of medical work aimed at restoring the recipient’s health by transplanting organs or tissues of the donor.
