Abstract:
The article describes the frequency of dry eye syndrome in children, in
correlation with ophthalmological morbidity, risk factors, which lead to the
appearance and progression of this pathology. It describes its impact on the
visual health and life of the children, also describes “Computer Syndrome”.
The ophthalmological morbidity in children up to 18 years is analyzed in
different regions of the country, the algorithm of diagnosis and the program
of prophylaxis of this pathology. Aspects of clinical management and its early
detection in children, the role of parents, family doctor and specialists in this
process are analyzed scientifically.
