Abstract:
The article addresses the issue of post-modern ethics in relation to traditional ethics. The author tries to demonstrate that new types of ethics have
recently emerged – bioethics, techno ethics, global ethics, informational ethics,
etc. it does not in any case represent an „ethical revolution” and the denial of
the role of traditional ethics, which maybe use full in contemporary conditions. On the contrary, this means that ethics begins to exercise its prospective
function, that post-modern ethic sis based on norms, principles and values
developed within anthropocentric ethics.
