Abstract:
This article analyzes the most important elements of the spiritual framework of the human personality that is emphasized in the works of Constantin Noica (1909-1987): the belief that the world is „ontologically oriented” – oriented towards being, towards good; culture as a system of values;
philosophy represented as a saving activity for man; the mother tongue as
an expression if the identity of man; the symbiosis of intellectual and moral
values, the ire primacy over material values. It is concluded that these elements determine the specificity of man’s presence in the world, his auto affirmation and becoming, the continuity between generations and cultures, our
human future.
